Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 31, 2026
SawirPost is operated by Sawir Studio LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use sawirpost.com, why, and the choices you have.
1. What we collect
- Account data — your name, email, and password (hashed), or your basic profile from a social login provider you choose (Google or GitHub).
- Connected channels — when you connect a social account, we store the platform's identifiers for that account and the OAuth tokens, API keys, or app passwords the platform issues. These are encrypted at rest and used only to publish what you schedule and to read the engagement metrics we show you. We never see your platform passwords.
- Content — the posts and media you compose or upload, and the schedule you set.
- Engagement data — follower counts and per-post metrics (likes, comments, shares, views) reported by the platforms for your connected accounts.
- Billing data — handled by Stripe. We store your subscription status and Stripe identifiers; card numbers never touch our servers. Billing addresses and tax IDs are collected at checkout for tax compliance.
- Usage basics — session cookies to keep you signed in, and server logs. We do not run advertising trackers.
2. How we use it
- To operate the Service: publish your scheduled content to the accounts you connected, sync its metrics, and show them to you and your team.
- To bill subscriptions, calculate tax where we are registered, and send transactional email (verification codes, invitations, password resets, and a short series of onboarding tips you can unsubscribe from in one click).
- To protect the Service — rate limiting, abuse and spam prevention.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your content or your audience's data for advertising.
3. Platform data
Data received from connected platforms is used solely to provide the features you see: publishing on your instruction and displaying engagement metrics for your own accounts. We honor each platform's developer policies, including Meta's Platform Terms. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. YouTube features use YouTube API Services; by using them you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke our access at any time in your Google security settings or the equivalent settings of any connected platform, and by disconnecting the channel in SawirPost.
4. Service providers
We share data only with the processors needed to run the Service:
- Stripe — payments, subscriptions, and tax calculation.
- The platforms you connect — see the full list on our channels page. Each receives only the content you schedule to it.
- Infrastructure — our hosting and email delivery providers, bound by their own data processing terms.
5. Retention and deletion
- Deactivate: from Profile → Deactivate account you can hide your account at any time; logging in again restores it. To permanently delete your account and personal data — including anything obtained from Facebook, Google or other login providers — email support@sawirpost.com from your account address and we complete it within 30 days.
- Disconnecting a channel revokes our stored tokens and stops all publishing and metric syncing for it.
- Deleting posts removes them from SawirPost; content already published to a platform lives under that platform's rules.
- If your subscription lapses, your data is retained so you can resume; you can request full account deletion at any time and we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or tax reasons.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and similar laws), you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data. Email us and we will honor them: support@sawirpost.com.
7. Requests from public authorities
We disclose personal data to government agencies only in response to valid legal process, after legal review, limited to the minimum necessary, and with notice to you where the law allows. Our Government Data Request Policy sets out the full process.
8. Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit; platform tokens are encrypted at rest; access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure — if a breach affects your data we will notify you as the law requires.
9. Children
SawirPost is not directed to children under 13 (or the higher minimum age of the platforms you connect), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes and contact
We will announce material changes to this policy in the app or by email. Questions and requests: support@sawirpost.com. Sawir Studio LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA.
