Composing posts
The composer is built around one idea: write once, then make each platform's version right.
The main card
Write your post in the top card and tick the channels it should publish to. The character counter lives inside the card; on X, going past 280 characters automatically moves the overflow into a reply card at a word boundary — that's a thread being born, not an error.
Per-channel tabs
Above the composer, All channels holds your general version. Each connected channel gets its own tab where you can override:
- Body — rephrase for the platform (professional for LinkedIn, casual for X).
- Media — attach different images or video per channel.
- Replies — customize each chained reply per channel too.
Anything you don't override inherits from the general version.
Media
Attach images and video from your media library — uploads land there automatically, and AI-generated images are saved there too. Each channel can carry its own selection.
Mentions
Type @ to autocomplete real accounts on Bluesky and Mastodon — the composer searches the live network directories as you type.
Plus button
The + below the main card adds a reply — see Threads and replies for how chains publish on each network.
