Connecting channels
Every network connects from the Channels page. What happens after you click differs a little per platform.
OAuth platforms
X, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit, Threads, Dribbble — click connect, approve on the platform, and you're back in Sawirpost with the channel live.
Notes:
- Facebook / Instagram — you connect a Page (and the Instagram professional account linked to it), not a personal profile.
- Pinterest — after connecting, each post picks a destination board in the composer.
- YouTube / TikTok — video platforms; posts there expect a video upload.
Bluesky
Bluesky uses an app password instead of OAuth. Create one in Bluesky under Settings → Privacy and security → App passwords, then enter your handle and that app password in Sawirpost. Never use your main account password.
Mastodon
Enter your instance domain (for example mastodon.social) — Sawirpost registers with that instance and sends you through its authorization page. Any instance works.
Discord and Slack
Both connect with a webhook URL — no app installation:
- Discord: channel settings → Integrations → Webhooks → New webhook → copy URL.
- Slack: create an incoming webhook for the channel and paste the URL.
Posts (and chained follow-ups) arrive as messages in that channel.
Limits
The Pro plan includes 10 connected channels. Disconnecting a channel keeps its published history in analytics.
